Road Maintenance and Pothole Filling
May 17, 2025
The paving contracter has scheduled pothole repares for July 7th, weather permitting.
In the meantime, community members are asked not to take on parts of this project themselves, as the contractor may require additional payment to remove the material and replace it in accordance to specifications and the approved work order.
If there is a particularly bad pot hole in the road that you think needs filled, please get in touch with the Conservancy so that it can be addressed. Permissions need to be granted prior to any pot hole filling due to liability issues and to avoid additional costs to remove that material.
The Conservancy is not responsible for reimbursement of funds that have spent by members of the community who have filled the pot holes themselves.
Sediment Removal Project
June 19, 2024
We are pleased to announce that the Van Bibber Lake Conservancy District has been awarded a 2025 LARE grant (Lake and River Enhancement) to continue sediment removal at Van Bibber Lake.
The next phase of the project will involve deeper dredging along the shoreline. Looking ahead, the Conservancy plans to apply for a 2026 LARE Grant, which will likely support the placement of stone along the shoreline to help prevent erosion.
Updates will be posted here, so please check back to follow the progress of this project.
