Communication Regarding Intermittent Water Shut-offs

To the Van Bibber Lake Community,

We would like to sincerely apologize for the lack of timely communication regarding the recent water service interruption that occurred on the evening of October 13 during the required maintenance and cleaning of the community water tower.

Unfortunately, due to uncertainty about when the water shutoff would be necessary, the service interruption occurred before we were able to provide advance notice to residents. As a result, the public alert was not published until approximately 90 minutes after the shutoff had already taken place.

We understand how inconvenient and frustrating this was for many residents, and we deeply regret the disruption and lack of communication. Please know that this situation does not reflect the level of service or transparency we strive to provide.

Moving forward, we are reviewing our notification procedures to ensure that residents receive earlier and clearer communication during any future maintenance events or emergencies affecting water service.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue working to maintain a safe and reliable water system for our community.

Sincerely,

Van Bibber Lake Conservancy District
